    ガラパゴス諸島の中のフロアレナ島には、無人の郵便局が存在する。木製のポストが置いてある簡素な郵便局であり、手紙を回収にくる郵便局員も居ない。この郵便局を通りかかった旅行者が、自分の国宛ての手紙を探し、帰国した際に切手を貼って送り届ける制度になっている。
